Spiritual WOD 7/1/13

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 10:13

Reflection: What in you life temps you aways from God?  or what is distracting you?

Duty:  Think about a distraction in your life that keeps you from the right path.  Now pray and ask God to keep you strong, focused, and faithful to Him.  Don't forget to thank him for the things he has blessed you in your life.  Also pray for our country and our country's leaders for I believe they are the most distracted with temptations.

Spiritual WOD 6/30/13

Scripture:  Proverbs 12:26

Reflection:  Who are you putting yourself around and why?  What are those people doing daily?  Are they drunks? Are they cussing other people out?  Or are they putting other people first? Better one yet... have they asked you if there is anything they can pray over you about?

Duty:  List your two major social groups, or people you hang around the most.  Then reflect on how they are influencing your life and relationship with God.

Spiritual WOD 6/29/13

Scripture: James 4:8

Reflection:  As a person of faith, you much constantly seek out God.  When you start to distance your self, is when the Devil sneaks in.  Some people may not mean to separate themselves from the Lord, but life and this world can start to turn your head away from Him.  I speak of this because I fell into this trap myself.
As you can see this blog has not been updated in a long time.  I went from reading my bible everyday and writing what God tells me; to doing nothing at all and just going threw my day.  So here I'm closing my gap with God and putting my eyes back on the Lord.

Duty:  List three things that can bring you closer to God.

My three...
1)  Read my Bible, then continue my blog to lead other to Christ.
2)  Pray with my friends and family not only in time of need but also in the good times.
3)  Go serve others and tell them how He has blessed me.
